The R/V Thunder has an unlimited area of operation, worldwide. The R/V Thunder can make long passages under her own propulsion, or be lifted onto cargoships, barges or landing crafts and on a custom built DOT approved highway trailer. The R/V Thunder has 4-point picking eyes and custom made boat lift slings and can be picked by cranes or travel lifts. The R/V Thunder can go dry on her bottom at most smooth beaches. The R/V Thunder is easy to lash down and travels well on deck of barges or cargoships with little or no cribbing required due to her catamaran hulls and jet drives.
